About North Cyprus [Kervanseray Beach]
East of Kyrenia are Diana, Lara, Acapulco and Alagadi beaches, all easily accessible by car. Escape Beach (small charge made) in Alsancak (west of Kyrenia) is one of the safest beaches close to Kyrenia. There are many hotels with private bays, which permit non-residents to use them for a small fee. Many quiet natural beaches are to be found on the Karpas Peninsula. Kyrenia Harbour offers outside dining in a pretty setting looking at boats and bustling nightlife. If you fancy cruising around the Med, being waited on, fresh fish lunches, swimming from the boat, then stroll down to Kyrenia harbour and book one of 20 boats dealing in daily trips.
Horse riding sessions and walking tours can be booked at the Tourist Information Centre at Kyrenia Harbour. Sailing, water skiing, power boat, Banana and Ringo rides can be found locally at the Dolphin Water sports at Diana Beach at the Catalkoy turning off the coast road. Must See... - Kyrenia Castle, St. Hilarion Castle, Bellapais Abbey, Soli and Vouni ancient Roman sites and the evocative Roman remains at Salamis complete with original columns, mosaic flooring and an amphitheatre.
